A girlfriends’ reunion in Tucson has brought me to northern Tucson, the Oro Valley in the shadows of the Santa Catalina Mountains. In a sunny, cloudless Sonoran desert landscape, we’ve settled in the El Conquistador resort to be near the Leeper’s southwest home in Saddlebrook.

2017 …we haven’t changed much!
