Indian Wells, Calif.

Not a cloud in the sky today, palm trees swaying slightly and the temp is a balmy 86 degrees. We are truly living the good life, and are relieved to know Denver is finally getting some warmer weather.

A treat was dining at Copley’s, the former home of Cary Grant, with some good buddies Tim Schultz and Debbie Jessup. Fantastic ambiance and the award-winning cuisine was truly remarkable! Cary Grant was one of the iconic leading men known for his debonair demeanor and handsome good looks. He starred in numerous Hollywood films and was cast in several movies directed by Alfred Hitchcock.

Our attire for our big night out was colorful, to say the least, with Jerry and Steve sporting shagaldelic mod shirts from the Palm Springs designer Will Stiles!

Our golfing friends played 18 at the Stone Mountain Golf Club with fellow JA board member and friend Jim Vaughn. The challenging desert course is incredible, but these duffers rose to the challenge!

An excursion to the street fair, I’d call it a flea market, was a repeat from previous visits, where the last wine openers were once purchased. Happy to see they’re still selling the contraptions! A very popular Sunday morning activity!
