France Encore

I was two months old on my first trip to France. My mother was taking me to meet my father who was stationed in Bordeaux to rebuild after the War. So, I lived in France for the first two years of my life, but don’t remember much of it. My 50th birthday was celebrated in Paris with a group of dear friends at a very swanky and expensive dinner at Plaza Athenee. Saint Remy de Provence was the destination for other lovely trips to France through the years. This trip promises to be a different experience, an homage to the Americans and Allies who helped liberate France in World War Two and an exploration of a different side of the amazing country of France. And the launch of my travel blog! Merci for reading.
